Located in the restored home on the second floor, this room speaks vintage charm with the original tin ceiling, a cottage-style retreat bed and wooden blinds. Before letting the queen sized bed with a featherbed mattress topper and four comfy pillows lull you to sleep, take respite in the comfort of the recliner chair to reflect on your day of driving through this Driftless Area of Southwest Wisconsin that surrounds us. This large corner room allows for the daylight to penetrate through the two opposite windows and for a lovely breeze on sunny warm days. The wintertime coziness of this room is the Victorian-style electric fireplace that offers you the option of just enjoying the romantic burning flame or adding a sense of warmth. A few of the many detailed amenities for your enjoyment include bathrobes and cable TV. In the hall pantry you will find a refrigerator, microwave and ice. Room has central air/heat and ceiling fan. Just in case you had to bring your computer, there is a lap desk for you to work on.
The in-room bath features a spacious granite top sink vanity and dressing area. The large walk-in shower and commode are behind a separate close-able door. The Rose Room is 225 square feet.
