1. Pearl Street Brewery
Pearl Street Brewery, a famous local favorite, operates out of the historic La Crosse Footwear Building. You can find Pearl Street beers on tap all over the state, but the best selection is always going to be at their La Crosse brewery. Try the new Linalool IPA, and the Pearl St. Pale Ale might just become your new go-to!

City Brewing Company is the most noticeable brewery you’ll see – they have the World’s Largest Six-Pack on display, dressed in their La Crosse Lager. City Brewing has carried on the tradition of the G. Heileman Brewing Company, which established La Crosse as a beer town back in 1858.

Looking for even more beers and variety? These brew pubs serve up tons of beers alongside great food. The Golden Tap, one of La Crosse’s new restaurants, carefully pairs their menu items with the perfect craft beer. The Bodega Brew Pub offers an impressive beer selection and pub food, as well as a ghost story! They say that former owner of the building hung himself there in 1901 and has haunted it ever since.
