By taking a short stroll (50 feet) from the Main House, you’ll find our other respite treasure, The Westby Guest House. This charming structure offers two suites under its historic roof: The Atrium Suite and The Victorianne Suite. These vacation rental suites are ideal for couples, girlfriend or friend getaways or families traveling with children—anyone who needs separate beds yet wants to be in the same room. This house was once a residential home, and it received an extreme home makeover, which added comfort and sophistication. Along with the beautiful interior, the outside area has a manicured backyard, complete with an English Garden gazebo. During April through October, you can enjoy conversations outside, under the beautiful night sky, hold a cook-out or play lawn games. Or, you can stroll over to the Main House to gaze from the large deck or wrap-around porch!
A covered, multi-pillared, gazebo-styled front porch will welcome you to the guest house. Once inside, you’ll find the two suites on each side of the entry foyer.
The Atrium Suite is 615-square feet and accommodates up to four guests. The suite has three rooms, well-appointed with charm and detail. French doors open into the southern-exposed sitting room, where the sun penetrates through a bank of beautiful windows. You’ll find an overstuffed sofa that converts into a full-size bed. A bedroom chamber has a queen-size bed and a gas fireplace, which adds a soothing glow. The suite also has a full bath with a two-person , corner Jacuzzi, a pedestal sink, a walk-in shower, cozy bathrobes and a full array of toiletries. The spacious kitchen has 1950s décor and full-size appliances. It’s stocked with dishes, glasses, cups, pots and pans, utensils and other amenities, all available for you to prepare your snacks and meals. A full Gourmet Continental Breakfast is stocked in the kitchen for guests of both suites.
The Victorianne Suite is an extra large, 332-square foot, well-detailed suite that can accommodate up to two guests. It has a queen-size sleigh bed, gas fireplace, a beverage station, and small refrigerator. You can settle into the Queen Anne-style furniture in the delightful sitting alcove and recall your day’s journey. Or, perhaps you’d rather sink into the warm water of the two-person Jacuzzi! There’s also a walk-in shower, a pedestal sink, comfy bathrobes and a full array of toiletries. The morning will bring you the pleasure of enjoying the already-stocked Gourmet Continental Breakfast in the Atrium Suite’s kitchen.
