Do I need reservations? How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
As soon as you know your dates it is suggested to make an advance reservation, especially if there is a particular room or suite you have your eye on. While it may be possible to just walk in and get a room, it is also possible that we may not be on the property. We don’t what to disappoint you by not able to stay at the Westby House. If you are seeking lodging for a special event or vacation, we would recommend making your reservation as soon as you have determined the dates. This is also true for attending a wedding. The Westby area has limited lodging options, which can and do book-up far in advance.
I need to cancel my reservation. What do I do?
We understand that time to time an unforeseen matter arises and you need to cancel your reservation. Our cancellation policy states an eight-day notice is required prior to your arrival date to cancel without any fees or penalties. For example, if you were arriving on a Friday, you must cancel by the Thursday of the prior week. When a cancellation is with-in the eight days of your arrival, you are then responsible for any nights of the reservation that cannot be re-booked. We will do our best to re-rent the reserved nights. In the event that we can not re-book your room/s, we will then use the credit card on file for these charges.
How do I pay for my reservation?
Reservations are confirmed and held with a Visa or Mastercard credit card. We do not make any charges on the credit card prior to your arrival. However, we do appreciate settling the amount due by cash or personal check. If preferred, a credit card transaction can be processed at the time of your stay.
There are 3 of us traveling together and prefer sharing the same room. How can you accommodate us?
When 3 people are traveling together and want to share the same room we suggest reserving the two suites in the Guest House; the Atrium Suite and Victorianne Suite. Each suite has a queen bed, private bath and many extra amenities. Plus there is a pullout sofa bed in the Atrium if three separate beds are needed. You would have private access to the entire guest house, which also features a sitting room for conversations and a complete kitchen. Call us to check availability and quote you a special rate!
